Home

Hey there,

LONDON WAS AMAZING. I came home last friday night, a lot later than I planned to because all the luggage of our flight was lost. So we waited for two hours and when we were filling in reports they suddenly found them again. It was all kind of weird. So then I had to work saturday, sunday and this morning, but now I'm home and I'll have a day off tomorrow so I decided to take some time for my blog.

Yesterday morning I had to work really early, so I just threw on some stuff and only realised that I really liked what I was wearing when my boyfriend said I looked really good that day (thanks baaaabe). So I decided to share it with you and we went outside to take some pictures.
And the weather was shit so we had to run back inside when it started raining. But anyway, in this outfit I'm wearing my new pants I bought in London, and they are so nice. I got them at Topshop   (which has a five story building in Oxford St., and as someone who's used to a little Topshop boutique in Amsterdam, I was wow-ed. I got lost inside the building two times, for real) and it's a pair of 'Jamie' pants. And yes: they were more expensive than the ones without the cut-out knees, but. Yeah. I just really liked these. No shame on me.

My hat is a lovely fedora from H&M, and a little too big for me, so it kept flying off my head during our little shoot. My black cardigan is from Brandy Melville, and seriously one of the best things in my closet. Shirt is stolen from my lovely boyfriend, who admitted it looked better on me. And my shoes are just my Clarks again. (I won't bore you with the same shoes in every outfit, promise! I bought some new Dr. Martens in Camden Town last week, so stay tuned for those in a next post.)
Just before I went off to London, I also received this little Saturn-pendant in the mail, and I really like layering it with my other silver necklaces.
I'm planning on doing a post about the stuff I got in London before Thursday, because then I'm off to a festival yay, and maybe schedule one during that time, so you don't have to miss me that much.

 Kisses and thanks for reading,

Shanna

'You should start blogging again.'

My boyfriend said about a hundred times this summer. So I guess I should.
He was also nice enough to take some outfit pictures with me today, in the park across his street. I usually take my own pictures, so I had to get used to doing this with someone else, and stepping over my perfectionism. But he did really well, and I'm quite happy with how these turned out.
I feel like the best way to start this off (again), is with telling you I've changed my hair. And it was the worst decision ever to get a fringe in July.  Don't ever get a fringe in summer. Even though it looks insanely cute with all the hats and summer dresses. And ponytails. Scrunchies. ( Okay, it's kind of worth it).

This outfit consists of my most comfortable clothes, because I was sick and at my boyfriend's house and it was way too warm outside. My shirt is from Zara, and I got it last fall, but they always have a clothing rack with shirts like these. I got it in a large, because loose fitting clothes are the best. My shorts are from a local thrift shop, and they are Levi's 501's which I cut into the chillest pair of shorts   e-ver. And my feet I'm wearing black desert boots by Clarks (babes).

Wooo close up shot!  I'm really digging the dainty necklaces trend that's going around, with all different kinds of pendants available in your usual stores. I've chosen to start off my collection with just an old-looking coin I got from River Island for only 4 euro's!
Next to that, my belt is from H&M, and I've been looking for a belt that would fit around my waist for ages, so I was insanely happy I found this one.
I'm also wearing my relatively new backpack from Fjallraven Kånken, but I'd love to tell you more about that in an upcoming post!

I'm really feeling blogging again and I'm really glad I've found someone who likes to take some pictures for me. I think they came out way better than when I have to do everything by myself and it was a lot of fun as well.
Next week I'll be off to London, so I'm not sure when my next post shall be, but when I'm back, I'm destined to keep this blog alive.

Thanks for reading and have a lovely saturday!
